Personally we should make a motion to ban fireworks, period!  I know the Forth of July is one of the biggest Holidays, however, we can find other ways to help celebrate and demonstrate our Independance day.  After a long hot day of chicken roasting, hot dog grilling, hamburger flipping madness I would really like to just sit on my patio and relax, inhale some fresh air and just breathe.  The constant echoing of unecessary fire crackers, not to mention roudy groups of drunken neighboors is just not my idea of fun.  The smokey gun powder emulsion that infiltrates the night air is just not good for us let alone for the enviornment.  What exactly does a firecracker signify?  I don’t get it, just as I do not understand the need for Disneyland’s horrendous firework feast that hits our ears and homes at exactly 9:30 p.m.  Really are we that impressionable?  Why not have a gigantic lazer show in the sky or light parade at certain locations, I mean come on, it is time to move one.  I love you America, but we need to stop killing our ears and our lungs.  Some of you may say, well Oclivin, this happens once a year but think about it, pollution from our cars, airplanes, daily products, we are digging ourselves in a bigger whole, eventually we will sink!…….Think about it.
