While surfing the net for pictures of Tony Bourdain, I came across an article on how he became a dad about 1 year ago.  What!  When the heck did this happen.  My heart totally sank, not because he’s a dad, but because I’m not his wife.  Turns out he met his 29 year old wife Ottavia on a trip to Italy.  Doesn’t it always turn out that way.  In past interviews he had stated that he would never make a great father, due to his past experiences and issues.  My my, how things change when you find out you are going to be a parent.  So his baby girl is now 1, how cute.  I always thought he would have a couple of kids by the time he was sixty. Isn’t it so weird how we react when we find out that someone who we are fond of gets married, engaged or enters parenthood?  I mean, we don’t even know these people, why should we care?  It’s just the jealous part in us that wishes we were someone else. Well so much for dreams of Tony, I should be moving on anyways.  I wish him the best and I think he will be an excellent father.
