Save your marriage one dinner at a time
Last night, the other half and I decided to stay in after a long day at the beach. We tucked the little pumpkin in bed and decided to make dinner and enjoy some peace and quiet in the comfort of our own home. The carne asada grilling on the BBQ, me in the kitchen slicing and dicing away, what a great dinner. The whole day must have cost us less than $20, and with things the way they are, everyone should rethink their way of spending. The carne asada burritos turned out wonderful! With a hanful of chips and a mixed drink in hand we headed to our patio; citronella candles burning in lanterns and palm tree views, we were in heaven. I think that every once and a while everyone should forget the going out on a date and opting for a stay in approach. This is less expensive and definitely more romantic, we realley do need to rekendle our love lives sans the public eye doting on you. When we are alone in the comfort of our own home, we can express and act different than when we are in public. I have saved my marriage thanks to these stay at home dates, when your alone with your mate, you only have your mate, so you are forced to engage in conversation with them, good or bad. When you can openly discuss the bad, that is when you are on your way to saving what you loved in the first place…..each other.
