The quest for the perfect body
O.K., so it is true, if you live or even visit certain parts of the O.C., the pressure is on. I am definitely a beach bum, and honestly everytime I’m in Newport, I feel the pressure. I have become more and more self concious about my body and my style. I’m no stranger to Gucci, Prada, Weitzmen, Chanel and so on, however, the body image is my problem. To the average eye, I may be normal, but to the perfect I, I need work. Sure it sounds superficial, but why can’t we look good for the sake of looking good. Why must we be considered vain and materialistic. After having a child, the body takes a turn, and not always for the best, sure I love my kid, but I also love my body. I have been contemplaiting cosmstetic surgery for some time now, mainly my breast and tummy. I do want at least one more child, but part of me doees neeot want to wait. Newport seems to be the capital for plastic surgery right along side Beverly Hills. Sometimes I wonder if demographics do play a part in style factor, and shows as well. You know this is totally off subject, but I saw Dr. Robert Rey (Dr. 90210)and his wife Downtown Disney, they really are poster childs for cosmetic surgery. Well anyway, I wish I had the perfect body, but even with work, there will be inperfections. I guess I have to work on my self esteem as well.
