Oh oh, the mistletoe….
Did you know that mistletoe is actually deadly, if ingested, you will die! So, I never understood what the real purpouse of this killer plant could be. I am too lazy to actully google it, plus, I have never been kissed under it. That’s another thing, why do you have to kiss under mistletoe? Maybe because if you accidentally ingest a piece of it, it will be your last kiss goodbye! I just think some of our traditions are bizzare, I could see Christmas Holly as a more appropriate plant, it is prettier than mistletoe, however, killer just the same. I dought the holly will poison you, but boy the leaves are so serrated that you can slice your wrists on that. Realistically, all of our beautiful Christmas plants are pretty much dangerous, except for poinsetta, they seem more subdued, I wouldn’t actually try eating one, but I think they are ok and pleasing to the eye. Well, anyways, I just wanted to get that off my chest and just openly discuss the harms of mistletoe. Thank You, and Merry Christmas!
