That's true. Despite bouts of selfishness, nothing can replace the joy of mothering your children.

i also love edward cullin but only because i have my own real life edward. his name is brandon and i really love him. he knows i have a fixation with him so that is why he is my own edward. he is ok with my obsession. we enjoy the books and the movie and the obsessions together. its ok to be obsessed only if healthly and you don't let it get in the way of real life

Get this...They still have it on the rack 6 days after Halloween @ 75% off. Picked it up for my grandson. I scan the costume to see if it is the percentage off. Scanner tells me to get help from and associate. People scanning items in the halloween aisle scan it at 3.22. Go to the register, it sends up warning that I need authorization to purchase costume. Clerk running the self-check, runs it, and gets a warning. They confiscate the costume and tell me it's been recalled. No more information given.

I have two questions: Why was it STILL on the rack, and what was the reaon for the recall. Actually I have another question, what about all the ones they sold previous to the recall?

My heart also goes out to the victims of this catastrophy. I also agree with your boycott.

It seems prudent to me that the entire Metrolink system should be shut down pending the conclusion of the NTSB's investigation (remember the Angel's Flight tragedy?).

It is idiotic to put the sole responsibility on one engineer. Individuals are subject to heart attacks, strokes, etc. Each one of us can, do, and will make mistakes in our lifetimes. I'm boycotting L.A. Metrolink until satisfactory safeguards are put in place, i.e.:

1. Two engineers and two conductors per train, redundantly watching the track signals and calling them out.
2. First car behind engine is left empty at all times as a shock aborber in the event of a collision.
3. Pomona warning system fixed so that dispatcher has adequate lead time to warn a train of an impending collision.
4. RAID "Positive Train Control" collision avoidance system made of the very best materials and design, for maximum redundancy and reliability, installed and working correctly.
5. Dual tracks and tunnels installed the full length of the commuter routes, progressing toward a fully elevated or subterrainian roadbed to eliminate all railrod crossings.
6. Running trains backward is outlawed.

When you connect the dots, it is easy to see that our tax money is being spent on earmarks such as the war in Iraq, and Halliburton, and other corruption. It's time for the people to take back control of our tax dollars and earmark them to be spent on worthwhile public works projects here in the U.S.A.! Government is very capable at getting projects done, when it is in the hands of good honest people, e.g. The Golden Gate Bridge, and Hoover Dam.

that's as weird to me as the onesies that say "Does this make me look fat?" That makes me cringe. As if our girls don't have enough self-esteem and weight issues...

A doctor, I am not but I,d like to add perhaps a few salient facts to the above description of an oncoming nervous breakdown.
In some instances when a person finds oneself suddenly without a family doctor a drastic change or reduction to a long term anxiety medication will bring on a false positive indication mimicking the above.
I know because I was faced with a rather scarey set of symptoms when my own doctor retired .
Here in Ontario, Canada it is very difficult to find a new doctor so I was forced to go to public walk in clinics and more often yhan not the physicians on duty wouldn't prescribe the sufficient dosage of various anxiety medications that my mind and body were not only used to but absolutely required.
Forced withdrawal is not a comfortable thing to go through and I for one can tell you I thought indeed I was going crazy.
Apparently my original family doctor was over prescribing lorazepam and temazepam and in the end I was the one to face the brunt.
Please add this post to youe site as it may help a few people to realise a bit more about nervous/mental breakdown situations/

I have to say to some extent I agree with you. You may also want to include friends in the mix. The fastest way to lose a best friend is to conduct business with them. Unless you are very patient and understanding when something goes wrong, you'll lose the friendship.
